British Columbia is being shown some love in a new out-of-home media campaign from Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures Canada for the upcoming feature film “Tomorrowland.” Directed by Brad Bird and starring George Clooney, “Tomorrowland” is a riveting mystery adventure about a jaded scientist and an optimistic teen who embark on a danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space. It opens in theatres on May 22, 2015.

The 2015 Films for the Forest (F3) call for submissions is now open! The theme for this year's international film competition is ImaginEarth, and we hope it will inspire filmmakers both novice and professional, and of all ages, to create and submit a forest-related short film. Created by the non-profit Rainforest Partnership in 2009, the goal of this competition is to create awareness of the challenges facing forests and their communities.
Campbell River Festival of Films Brings in The Best Films from TIFF

The Campbell River Festival of Films will launch its 2014 season in partnership with the Toronto International Film Festival and the newly renovated Tidemark Theatre. These renovations include plush new seats, new carpeting and paint throughout. It also will include a special projector called a DCP or Digital Cinema Projector that will allow the theatre to show a wider variety of films in an enhanced digital format. The quality of the projection will now be as good or better than a regular movie theatre anywhere on the Island!
