CASTING CALL: Background Performers to play “Townsfolk”

A Hallmark movie entitled “BLIND DATE BOOK CLUB” staring Erin Krakow (One Calls the Heart) and Robert Buckley will be filming in Gibsons January 15 – 19, 2024 and is looking for local Gibson residents to work as background performers.

We are in need of people 17 years and older to play “townsfolk”.

Interested persons must be available to work the entire day from morning until night. You do not have to be available for all 5 days.

Rate of pay is a minimum of 17.90 per hour with union rate available to any UBCP/ACTRA members.

In addition to the regular “townfolks” we are seeking couples (one older couple 60’s-70’s and one younger couple 20’s-) as well as someone with experience shucking oysters.
