STORYVILLE VANCOUVER - OCTOBER 1

Hi Everyone,

We?re gearing up for the next edition of the Vancouver Film and TV Forum, Sept. 29 - October 2 , 2009 with New Filmmakers? Day scheduled to take place on Oct. 3. One of our new initiatives this year is STORYVILLE VANCOUVER and we hope that you?ll be as excited about this as we are. A gentle reminder that the deadline for receipt of submissions is August 24th.

Pre-selected creative, Canadian feature length (minimum TV hour) documentary projects at various levels of development will be publicly pitched to international commissioning editors with accredited Forum observers in attendance. Key commissioning editors from the UK, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, France, the US and Canada have been confirmed and include: Nick Fraser (BBC), Metta Hoffman-Meyer (DR TV), Claire Aguilar (ITVS), Olaf Grunert (Arte, G.E.I.E.), Axel Arno (SVT), Cara Mertes (Sundance Institute), Cindy Witten (NFB) and Murray Battle (Knowledge Network).
